Courage #20

I will abide in Your tabernacle forever; I will trust in the shelter of Your wings... For You, O God, have heard my vows; you have given me the heritage of those who fear Your name.

Everywhere and in all things I have learned both to be full and to be hungry, both to abound and to suffer need. I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.

Father, our courage emanates from You. It is Your tabernacle in which we will abide forever, it is Your wings that cover and protect us. Help us as we look heavenward to grasp the extent of Your reach, the extent of Your love.

You God have heard our vows. It is to You that we must remain loyal, even when earthly pressures and stress make us want to rebel and to do our own thing. Our heritage, our children are Yours. How we pray for their enlightenment, faith and safety. Bless our heritage; bless our entire family we pray.

We know that we will have days of abundance and days of need. It is You who strengthen us to hang in there, to seek Your mercy and presence. There is no One like You God. Bless us this day, we pray, amen.
