Prayer Part I #23

If My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land.

Hear, O LORD, when I cry with my voice! Have mercy also upon me, and answer me.
When You said, “Seek My face,” my heart said to You, “Your face, LORD, I will seek.”
Do not hide Your face from me; do not turn Your servant away in anger; you have been my help; do not leave me nor forsake me, O God of my salvation.

Father, We come to You in all humility, somewhat overwhelmed that You actually listen to such persons as us. We do seek Your face and we know we can not do so while standing in the midst of sin or when thinking sinful thoughts. Help us, this day, to turn from any and all sin and to experience the serenity of Your presence.

We know that if we seek You with righteousness and humility that You listen. Father we have huge needs and little needs and we know You will comfort us and lead us as we seek to serve.

Heal our land, teach us, lead us and comfort us every moment of this day and may our countenance be as one who loves You. Elevate our relationship with You this day, we pray. In Jesus Holy name, we pray, amen.
