LEVITICUS
19:2
2 "Speak to all the congregation of the children of Israel, and
say to them: 'You shall be holy, for I the LORD your God am holy.
LEVITICUS
20:7-8
7 'Consecrate yourselves therefore, and be holy...
8 'And you shall keep My statutes, and perform them: I am the
LORD who sanctifies you.
LEVITICUS
20:26
26 '...I the LORD am holy, and have separated you from the peoples,
that you should be Mine.
LEVITICUS
21:1,8
1 ...the LORD said to Moses, "Speak to the priests ...'None shall
defile himself ...
8 '...you shall consecrate him, for he offers the bread of your
God. He shall be holy to you, for I the LORD, who sanctify you,
am holy.
DEUTERONOMY
13:18
18 "...you have listened to the voice of the LORD your God, to
keep all His commandments which I command you today, to do what
is right in the eyes of the LORD your God.
DEUTERONOMY
30:9-20
9 "The LORD your God will make you abound in all the work of your
hand, in the fruit of your body, in the increase of your livestock,
and in the produce of your land for good. For the LORD will again
rejoice over you for good as He rejoiced over your fathers,
10 "if you obey the voice of the LORD your God, to keep His commandments
and His statutes which are written in this Book of the Law, and
if you turn to the LORD your God with all your heart and with
all your soul.
11 "For this commandment which I command you today, it is not
too mysterious for you, nor is it far off.
12 "It is not in heaven, that you should say, 'Who will ascend
into heaven for us and bring it to us, that we may hear it and
do it?'
13 "Nor is it beyond the sea, that you should say, 'Who will go
over the sea for us and bring it to us, that we may hear it and
do it?'
14 "But the word is very near you, in your mouth and in your heart,
that you may do it.
15 "See, I have set before you today life and good, death and
evil,
16 "in that I command you today to love the LORD your God, to
walk in His ways, and to keep His commandments, His statutes,
and His judgments, that you may live and multiply; and the LORD
your God will bless you in the land which you go to possess.
17 "But if your heart turns away so that you do not hear, and
are drawn away, and worship other gods and serve them,
18 "I announce to you today that you shall surely perish; you
shall not prolong your days in the land which you cross over the
Jordan to go in and possess.
19 "I call heaven and earth as witnesses today against you, that
I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing; therefore
choose life, that both you and your descendants may live;
20 "that you may love the LORD your God, that you may obey His
voice, and that you may cling to Him, for He is your life and
the length of your days...
PSALM 4:3-5
3 ...know that the LORD has set apart for Himself him who is
godly; the LORD will hear when I call to Him.
4 Be angry, and do not sin. Meditate within your heart on your
bed, and be still...
5 Offer the sacrifices of righteousness, and put your trust in
the LORD.
PSALM 5:11-12
11 ...let all those rejoice who put their trust in You; let them
ever shout for joy, because You defend them; let those also who
love Your name be joyful in You.
12 For You, O LORD, will bless the righteous; with favor You will
surround him as with a shield
PSALM 15:1-2
1 LORD, who may abide in Your tabernacle? Who may dwell in Your
holy hill?
2 He who walks uprightly, and works righteousness, and speaks
the truth in his heart;
PSALM 85:4-13
4 Restore us, O God of our salvation, and cause Your anger toward
us to cease.
5 Will You be angry with us forever? Will You prolong Your anger
to all generations?
6 Will You not revive us again, that Your people may rejoice in
You?
7 Show us Your mercy, LORD, and grant us Your salvation.
8 I will hear what God the LORD will speak, for He will speak
peace to His people and to His saints; but let them not turn back
to folly.
9 Surely His salvation is near to those who fear Him, that glory
may dwell in our land.
10 Mercy and truth have met together; righteousness and peace
have kissed.
11 Truth shall spring out of the earth, and righteousness shall
look down from heaven.
12 Yes, the LORD will give what is good; and our land will yield
its increase.
13 Righteousness will go before Him, and shall make His footsteps
our pathway.
PSALM 118:4-6,14
4 Let those who fear the LORD now say, "His mercy endures forever."
5 I called on the LORD in distress; the LORD answered me and set
me in a broad place.
6 The LORD is on my side; I will not fear. What can man do to
me?
14 The LORD is my strength and song, and He has become my salvation.
PSALM 139:23-24
23 Search me, O God, and know my heart; try me, and know my anxieties;
24 And see if there is any wicked way in me, and lead me in the
way everlasting.
JOHN
8:31-32
31 ..."If you abide in My word, you are My disciples indeed.
32 "And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you
free."
ROMANS
8:18,22-28
18 ...I consider that the sufferings of this present time are
not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed
in us.
22 For we know that the whole creation groans and labors with
birth pangs together until now.
23 Not only that, but we also who have the firstfruits of the
Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves, eagerly waiting
for the adoption, the redemption of our body.
24 For we were saved in this hope, but hope that is seen is not
hope; for why does one still hope for what he sees?
25 But if we hope for what we do not see, we eagerly wait for
it with perseverance.
26 Likewise the Spirit also helps in our weaknesses. For we do
not know what we should pray for as we ought, but the Spirit Himself
makes intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered.
27 Now He who searches the hearts knows what the mind of the Spirit
is, because He makes intercession for the saints according to
the will of God.
28 And we know that all things work together for good to those
who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose.
JOHN
3:30
30 "He must increase, but I must decrease.
2 CORINTHIANS 8:9
9 For you know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that though
He was rich, yet for your sakes He became poor, that you through
His poverty might become rich.
EPHESIANS
1:4
4 ...He chose us in Him before the foundation of the world, that
we should be holy and without blame before Him in love,
COLOSSIANS
1:19,22
19 For it pleased the Father that in Him all the fullness should
dwell,
22 ...to present you holy, and blameless, and above reproach
in His sight--
PHILIPPIANS
3:7-14
7 ...what things were gain to me, these I have counted loss for
Christ.
8 Yet indeed I also count all things loss for the excellence of
the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord, for whom I have suffered
the loss of all things, and count them as rubbish, that I may
gain Christ
9 and be found in Him, not having my own righteousness, which
is from the law, but that which is through faith in Christ, the
righteousness which is from God by faith;
10 that I may know Him and the power of His resurrection, and
the fellowship of His sufferings, being conformed to His death,
11 if, by any means, I may attain to the resurrection from the
dead.
12 Not that I have already attained, or am already perfected;
but I press on, that I may lay hold of that for which Christ Jesus
has also laid hold of me.
13 Brethren, I do not count myself to have apprehended; but one
thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind and reaching
forward to those things which are ahead,
14 I press toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of
God in Christ Jesus.
1 THESSALONIANS 3:12-13
12 ...may the Lord make you increase and abound in love to one
another and to all...
13 so that He may establish your hearts blameless in holiness
before our God and Father at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ
with all His saints.
1 THESSALONIANS 4:3,7-8
3 ... this is the will of God, your sanctification: that you should
abstain from sexual immorality;
7 For God did not call us to uncleanness, but in holiness.
8 Therefore he who rejects this does not reject man, but God,
who has also given us His Holy Spirit.
2 THESSALONIANS 2:13-17
13 ...God from the beginning chose you for salvation through sanctification
by the Spirit and belief in the truth,
14 to which He called you by our gospel, for the obtaining of
the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ.
15 Therefore, brethren, stand fast and hold the traditions which
you were taught, whether by word or our epistle.
16 Now may our Lord Jesus Christ Himself, and our God and Father,
who has loved us and given us everlasting consolation and good
hope by grace,
17 comfort your hearts and establish you in every good word and
work.
1 TIMOTHY
4:8,12-16
8 For bodily exercise profits a little, but godliness is profitable
for all things, having promise of the life that now is and of
that which is to come.
12 Let no one despise your youth, but be an example to the believers
in word, in conduct, in love, in spirit, in faith, in purity.
13 Till I come, give attention to reading, to exhortation, to
doctrine.
14 Do not neglect the gift that is in you, which was given to
you by prophecy with the laying on of the hands of the eldership.
15 Meditate on these things; give yourself entirely to them, that
your progress may be evident to all.
16 Take heed to yourself and to the doctrine. Continue in them,
for in doing this you will save both yourself and those who hear
you.
2 TIMOTHY
2:19,22,24-26
19 ..."The Lord knows those who are His," ... "Let everyone who
names the name of Christ depart from iniquity."
22 Flee ... youthful lusts... pursue righteousness, faith, love,
peace with those who call on the Lord out of a pure heart.
24 ... a servant of the Lord must not quarrel but be gentle to
all, able to teach, patient,
25 in humility correcting those who are in opposition, if God
perhaps will grant them repentance, so that they may know the
truth,
26 and that they may come to their senses and escape the snare
of the devil, having been taken captive by him to do his will.
TITUS
1:15
15 To the pure all things are pure...
HEBREWS
5:12-14
12 For though by this time you ought to be teachers, you need
someone to teach you again the first principles of the oracles
of God; and you have come to need milk and not solid food.
13 For everyone who partakes only of milk is unskilled in the
word of righteousness, for he is a babe.
14 But solid food belongs to those who are of full age, that is,
those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern
both good and evil.
HEBREWS
12:14
14 Pursue peace with all people, and holiness, without which no
one will see the Lord:
JAMES
5:7-11
7 ...be patient, brethren, until the coming of the Lord. See how
the farmer waits for the precious fruit of the earth, waiting
patiently for it until it receives the early and latter rain.
8 You also be patient. Establish your hearts, for the coming of
the Lord is at hand.
9 Do not grumble against one another, brethren, lest you be condemned.
Behold, the Judge is standing at the door!
10 My brethren, take the prophets, who spoke in the name of the
Lord, as an example of suffering and patience.
11 Indeed we count them blessed who endure. You have heard of
the perseverance of Job and seen the end intended by the Lord--
that the Lord is very compassionate and merciful.
1 PETER
2:5,9
5 you... are being built up a spiritual house, a holy priesthood,
to offer up spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus
Christ.
9 ...you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation,
His own special people, that you may proclaim the praises of Him
who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light;
2 PETER
1:2-11
2 Grace and peace be multiplied to you in the knowledge of God
and of Jesus our Lord,
3 as His divine power has given to us all things that pertain
to life and godliness, through the knowledge of Him who called
us by glory and virtue,
4 by which have been given to us exceedingly great and precious
promises, that through these you may be partakers of the divine
nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through
lust.
5 But also for this very reason, giving all diligence, add to
your faith virtue, to virtue knowledge,
6 to knowledge self-control, to self-control perseverance, to
perseverance godliness,
7 to godliness brotherly kindness, and to brotherly kindness love.
8 For if these things are yours and abound, you will be neither
barren nor unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.
9 For he who lacks these things is shortsighted, even to blindness,
and has forgotten that he was cleansed from his old sins.
10 Therefore, brethren, be even more diligent to make your call
and election sure, for if you do these things you will never stumble;
11 for so an entrance will be supplied to you abundantly into
the everlasting kingdom of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
1 JOHN
2:5-6
5 ...whoever keeps His word, truly the love of God is perfected
in him. By this we know that we are in Him.
6 He who says he abides in Him ought himself also to walk just
as He walked.
1 JOHN
3:2-3
2 Beloved, now we are children of God; and it has not yet been
revealed what we shall be, but we know that when He is revealed,
we shall be like Him, for we shall see Him as He is.
3 And everyone who has this hope in Him purifies himself, just
as He is pure.
REVELATION
2:23-29
23 ...I am He who searches the minds and hearts. And I will give
to each one of you according to your works.
24 "Now to you... who have not known the depths of Satan, as they
say, I will put on you no other burden.
25 "But hold fast what you have till I come.
26 "And he who overcomes, and keeps My works until the end, to
him I will give power over the nations--
27 'He shall rule them with a rod of iron; they shall be dashed
to pieces like the potter's vessels'-- as I also have received
from My Father;
28 "and I will give him the morning star.
29 "He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the
churches."'
1 THESSALONIANS 5:22-28
22 Abstain from every form of evil.
23 Now may the God of peace Himself sanctify you completely; and
may your whole spirit, soul, and body be preserved blameless at
the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.
24 He who calls you is faithful, who also will do it.
25 Brethren, pray for us.
26 Greet all the brethren with a holy kiss.
27 I charge you by the Lord that this epistle be read to all the
holy brethren.
28 The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you. Amen.
